public class SIP2ItemStatusUpdateRequest
extends SIP2MessageRequest

This class represents the message that is used to send item information to the ILS, without having to do a checkout or checkin operation. The item properties could be storedon the ILS's database. The ILS should respond with SIP2ItemStatusUpdateResponse message.
